「2年に1度、戦国の名将-上杉謙信を讃える春日山城跡から眺める風光明媚な上越の地にウルトラマラソン大会が開催。わかりやすい案内表示、200-300mの峠が5つ累積標高1573mの難関コース。ドロップバック2カ所、クジラ汁、海賊汁、そば、うどんなど、美味しいエイドが充実。沿道やエイドでは、地元の小中学生とシルバー世代の方々の熱い応援が自分の限界を超えた力を引き出してくれるでしょう。長い旅路の先に感動のゴールと完走メダルが待っています。この感動を是非ご一緒に！」
"Once every two years, an ultramarathon event is held in the scenic and beautiful region of Uonuma, overlooking the Kasugayama Castle ruins, paying homage to the renowned warlord of the Sengoku period, Kenshin Uesugi.
With clear and easy-to-follow signage, the challenging course features five steep mountain passes ranging from 200 to 300 meters, accumulating an elevation gain of 1573 meters. Along the way, there are two drop-back points and well-stocked aid stations offering delicious options such as whale soup, pirate soup, soba, and udon noodles.
The spirited support from local elementary and middle school students, as well as enthusiastic senior spectators, will inspire you to surpass your own limits. At the end of the long journey, an exhilarating finish line awaits, accompanied by a well-deserved completion medal.
